Friends of Ondiri Wetland Kenya is a community based organization based in Kikuyu Subcounty of Kiambu County of the Central Province of Kenya. The organization was formed by concerned members of the community after observing the destruction happening at the Ondiri wetland, an important urban and highland wetland of national importance. Despite the fact that the wetland provided water for more than 60000 people within Kikuyu and without, it was faced with challenges of encroachment, pollution and biodiversity loss that led to rapid shrinking over the past years. The resource that originally occupied more than 63 acres of land had been reduced to nearly 32 acres. The pride of the region as the second largest quaking bog in Africa was diminishing due to anthropogenic factors as well as natural factors of climate change.

Among key thematic areas involve climate action, biodiversity restoration, food security, water quality and quantity, education and awareness raising programs to the communities.
